Project Type
CAJON VALLEY UNION SCHOOL
Students from a local elementary school took a field trip to one of our plants in the Mission Gorge area of San Diego. The students got to learn about how concrete is made and tested. They also got to do some mixing and quality testing of their own. We enjoyed having the students and teaching them about their local concrete and aggregate industry!

San Diego State University Field Trip
Students from San Diego State University studying Geological Sciences take a tour around our San Diego Rock Quarry. Mike was eager to show so many interested students how our Rock Quarry runs. He showed them around the quarry where we perform controlled blasts, the conveyer system for moving the rock to each stage, rock crushers to break down the aggregates and screens to accurately size the product for our customers. It is exciting to see so many students interested in the geological field.
