TRUCK PMI INSPECTOR

Superior Ready Mix is looking for a Commercial Truck Preventative Maintenance BIT Inspector to join our team and help maintain our company’s fleet compliance. In this role, you will perform 90-day inspections on all our on-road equipment, ensuring that we are following the BIT program regulations. This position is independent, specialized and highly technical.
responsibilites
Perform BIT inspections on all on-road equipment at 13 locations in Southern California. Notify shop managers and company management of any OOS (out of service) equipment found on inspections. Perform emissions testing on required vehicles per CARB mandates. Complete all required paperwork to verify company compliance to the BIT program inspection requirements. Maintain company wide PMI calendar for all on road equipment.
REquirements
· High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
· 5+ years working on or inspecting Commercial Vehicles in the State of California
· Valid CA Driver’s license
· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
· Basic computer skills
· Excellent communication skills
